The first few pages are clean. Clinical. He’s writing like a scientist cataloging insects. But as you flip through, you see the handwriting get shakier. Ink splatters appear. You realize you’re watching a man slowly realize that the laws of physics don’t apply here. He goes from “That’s a peculiar gnome” to “The gnomes are trying to harvest my teeth” in about ten pages.
