Zeokat has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Pensioner Hearing Aid Allowance | Free Forever

This article cuts through the confusion and explains exactly what financial support pensioners can access for hearing aids, batteries, repairs, and related healthcare. The term “pensioner hearing aid allowance” often arises from confusion with other benefits. Some pensioners mistakenly believe that receiving the State Pension automatically entitles them to a cash payment to buy hearing aids. That is not the case.

If you’re a pensioner struggling with hearing loss, you may have heard talk of a “pensioner hearing aid allowance.” The truth is, in most countries — including the UK, US, Canada, and Australia — there is no specific weekly or monthly allowance solely for hearing aids given to all pensioners. However, that doesn’t mean help isn’t available. pensioner hearing aid allowance

Book a hearing test. Hearing loss is often treatable, and with the right information, you won’t pay more than necessary. Disclaimer: This article is for informational purposes only. This seems to work:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use LWP::UserAgent; my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new; my $url = 'http://localhost/...'; $ua->default_headers->push_header(Range => "bytes=1000-2000"); my $response = $ua->get($url); my $content = $response->content(); warn length($content); warn $content;
    To get the current content length of the object, you can do a HEAD before and look at the content-length header.
      The code works verrrrrrry good eserte. Big thanks. But new question arrive to my head, are there any way to know if the server have the abbility of "Accept-Ranges: bytes" ?? Thanks in advance.
        Try fetching with HEAD instead of GET to view the Accept* headers without getting the content itself
