Proteus Ocean Group has announced a major milestone in its mission to establish a permanent, modular underwater research habitat. In a joint briefing with the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center, the company confirmed that the first phase of its namesake habitat is on track for deployment off the coast of Curaçao by Q3 2026.
