As this interview wraps, she pulls out a lyric sheet for the album’s closer, a seven-minute epic titled "The Supastar Is Bored." "It’s about the violence of softness," REY explains,

Her new, untitled album (dubbed REY 5.0 by fans) is rumored to feature a duet with a legendary rock frontman and a diss track aimed squarely at the industry executives who tried to box her into a "legacy act" at 28. Ahead of the Met Gala next week, where she serves as a co-chair, REY has also taken creative control of her image.
