You can now see hidden folders. To unhide a specific one, follow Steps 5–7 from Method 1. For users comfortable with command-line tools, this method is fast and doesn’t require changing system-wide visibility settings.

cd C:\Users\YourName\Documents To remove the hidden attribute from a folder named "SecretData", type:

Check the box labeled Hidden items .

Right-click the semi-transparent folder and select Properties .

Use the following command, replacing the path with your folder’s location: unhide folder in windows

Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives .
