Though the episode is titled after two separate events, Sheldon’s absence from the baby shower is notable. Instead, he appears in the hunting plot as a walking critique. Yet his observations—comparing hunting to a “testosterone-rich banquet”—are not meant as wisdom. The episode shows that pure logical analysis fails to account for emotional needs.
